Track Geometry

This layout can not be built with standard 9v train track.  The switches have been modified and there are half-curves in the layout.

A few years back, I gave a presentation on this topic was given at a couple of  conventions.  The presentation includes instructions on modifying your own track and suggestions on alternate geometry.   Below are the links to the presentation.

Since then, others may have come up with better techniques as I know there are others modifying their own track, but I don't know the details of their methods.
